My practice works across drawing, printmaking, painting and the use of found fabrics and collage. I use these materials as a way of thinking through the world rather than representing it directly.
At the core of my work is an ongoing process of investigation, where I develop a visual language shaped by observation, reflection and attention. Rather than reproducing the natural environment or personal experience, I distil what I encounter into forms that reflect how perception shifts over time.
Observation is central to this process and functions as a structured method of recording - both analytical and intuitive - that sharpens how I notice and interpret visual information.
I often focus on subtle phenomena, such as the way light moves across a face or changes as it passes over land or water. These moments become points of reference: fragments of visual data held in memory and later reworked into the language of the work.
